          Many people say that reading is the key to the advancement of a person, a group of people or even a country. Reading widens our knowledge, elevates our soul, makes us wiser. From my personal experience reading is the best hobby. It can be done anywhere, cheap, useful, and trendy …
Most of people in modern countries like Japan, USA etc fill their free time with reading. We can see their reading activities at the station while waiting for train, on a bus or train when they go to a destination, or even when they sit in the cubicle of a lavatory. As in Indonesia many people are already conscious about this so we can see this activity been done by many Indonesian during their free time.

My humble but happy family..

             Life is not always as we expect. If I may choose, I want to be born in a wealthy family.
Fortunately (not unfortunately, because I am grateful) I was born in a very simple and humble family, and I am happy.
My parents are very caring to their children. (Sometimes ‘galak’ too) Although they never say their love or buy us expensive things they always express their love to us.

My Favourite anime~ STY

Hello guys! In this post i want to talk about my favourite anime. Maybe it was categorized to an old anime (cause it launch on 2010) but the manga is still ongoing~ 

And i think im going crazy with this anime. Shinrei Tantei Yakumo!

Here is the plot summary:

Yakumo Saitou, a reserved College student, was born with a red left eye. This eye, which he usually hides behind a contact lens, gives him the ability to see ghosts and spirits and has brought him many hardships through out his life. Even though this special vision could easily scare anyone, it doesn't scare Yakumo. He strongly believes ghosts and spirits are feelings left behind, bound to earth because of a certain 'cause'. It is his opinion that by talking with them, he can eliminate that 'cause' and release them, allowing them to rest in peace. One day, a fellow College student named Haruka Ozawa knocks on his door, asking for help to save her friend, who she believes to be possessed. Reluctantly, he accepts, and thus begins a story full of unsolved supernatural events, bound to be deciphered by the two, and Yakumo's journey to release his heart from his painful past.

My first hobby! DRAWING~

My parents told me that when I was 2 I like to make ‘coret-coretan’ on the wall. It looked like a mozaik painting. Unfortunately we had to move from our previous home before taking any pictures of the ‘masterpiece’. When I was at pre-elementary my father buy me water colour, since I was too small to use them I just made any drawings that I want but it seemed that all the drawings have meanings. One drawing looks like an american cartoon such as bety boop (haha) :D, other drawing looks like Jesus Christ with His aura around him.
But now I've almost forgotten about the drawings , now I prefer manga drawing..
I think, i can express myself with this activities ^^

My dearest hometown, Purwokerto…

Hi there! My name is Metta. I was born in 1998 in a small town named Purwokerto. 

Purwokerto is a small town in central Java Indonesia. It is well known for its traditional foods like kripik, nopia and mendoan. Purwokerto is the capital of Banyumas region (Sometimes I call it ‘Water Golden city’). The estimated population of the town in 2009 was about 350.705.

Purwokerto is located at the ‘foot’ of Mount Slamet, the most sacred volcano in Java (according to my school’s security or ‘Satpam’, Pak Syahri)

Purwokerto’s central town square or ‘alun-alun’ is in the center of the town where some of the citizen of the town spend their free time. Many hawkers and vendors sell local foods, toys and vcds. Next to the square is the regional government office or kantor Kabupaten with Pendopo ‘Si Panji’ among the buildings.

English is not only important but urgent…

 Imagine someday when you are abroad (in the U.S. for example) you are alone lost in New York, like Kevin in ‘Home Alone’ and you want to ‘pee’ but  you do not speak English, What do you say to someone around you? “Mister, tolong saya mau ke toilet…”, “Miss, saya lost mau balik to hotel tapi tidak tau arah can you help?” Or maybe you just point your finger to your trousers in front of a cop and you say “I mau go to WC can you help me where ? xD

You buy a new gadget, for example a sophisticated camera or mobile phone and the manual book is in English or any other language but Indonesian what do you do? Ask your english teacher to help (opo ora isin…)

 You study at a Uni where most of the subjects are delivered in English, what do you do to understand the lectures, looking for a translator…? (ya ora sémban lah… mudeng apa ora…)
